What a Difference a Wall Makes!!

Yesterday we headed over to the farmhouse to check things out and what a difference a wall makes. It is really starting to look like a house again and a whole new house at that. When we left yesterday all of the drywall had been hung and the 1st coat of "mud" had been applied. It is truly amazing how great it looks. The vinyl has really come a long way since last weekend as well. I would say that the vinyl is about 75% complete now. The contractor came by yesterday while we were there and his new completion estimate is early to mid March, which is a lot sooner than the early to mid May date we were originally given. As you can imagine we are really excited with the progress. We took a ton of pictures yesterday, but unfortunately we left the camera at the farm, so we cannot post any just yet. Once we get the camera we will get them up for everyone to see. Until then...just use your imaginations.

    Thanks Vickie...we are super excited about having the B-day party at the farmhouse. That is what we have been hoping for all along!!

    Sorry - -probably my fault you forget the camera...I put it somewhere "safe" for during supper - so you didn't see if when you left. Imagination can only begin to be what some thinks about this project! When I saw the "Cabinet Man" he said he'd seen George several times -- and that he'd be seeing us all - real soon! Grandma
