Busy Day

Today was quite a busy one...we started off the morning bright and early. Levi & George were up at 7:00AM and Annie and I followed soon behind them at 7:30AM, breakfast (waffles & sausage) had been prepared, eaten and cleaned up by 8:30AM, and everyone was dressed and ready to take on the day by 9:00AM. We then headed out to load 77 hay bales onto Papa's trailer and were back in the house by 9:30AM. Next it was time to "switch gears" and get ready for soccer...George swapped his "farm clothes" for his "soccer clothes" and we were in the car and headed to the game at 9:45AM. The game (which they won ... not that anyone is keeping track!) wrapped up just before noon and we headed over to Papa & Oma's to unload the hay. We had a quick bite of lunch on Papa & Oma's patio (sorry we missed you guys!!), unloaded the hay and were back on the road headed home around 2:00PM. Levi and George decided to swing by Lowe's on the way home to pick up some lumber to build shelves in our shed and Annie and I came on home. The boys got home about 3:30PM and we headed out to start cleaning out the shed and to start on the shelves. By 6:30PM we had built the framing for the shelves and gotten evertyhing cleaned up. Then it was over to the neighbors (Pa & Grandma's) for dinner and now at 9:00PM we are home, Annie is in bed alseep (George asked to stay with Pa & Grandma, so I'm not sure what he's is up to) and we are winding down; sore, but feeling like we made a little headway. So, as you can see it was a very busy day, but it was very productive as well. Hopefully tomorrow will be as productive. Good night.
