So as we were headed to Papa & Oma's yesterday (I'll put some pictures up from this later today...hopefully)George pops one of the dreaded questions.
George: "Momma, when Annie grows up will she have babies?"
Me: "If she wants to she will."
George: "Will you make her have babies?"
Me: "No buddy. If Annie wants to have a baby she will, but no one will make her."
George: "But how do you make babies...how did you make Annie?"
Me: "Let me think about that for a second, so I can come up with a good answer that you will understand."
George: "Just tell me Momma."
Me: "I will buddy, just let me think for a minute."
Me: "When two people decide they want to have a baby...ummm...they take a part of the Momma and a part of the Daddy and they combine those parts to make a baby."
George: "Oh...so you and Daddy took parts of you and attached them...like with tape?"
Me: "Yep...kind of."
George: "Ok"
Me (under my breath): "Glad that's over."
I wonder how long that answer will hold before he want's more info.? I believe he's going to continue to keep you on your toes and Annie is going to be right behind him. Good luck staying a step ahead.

ReplyDeleteAnd to think I avoided the "stitches" topic yesterday when we were eating our omlette and biscuits! Converstations with George are a real experience! He's an "expert" you know!
