The Painting has Begun!!

The kids and I took a trip to the farm today to check on the painting progress and progress has been made...thou not as much as I had hoped for. All of the ceilings and all of the downstairs trim are now painted (Ceiling White for the ceilings & Extra White for the trim). It looks like most of the prep work has been done upstairs to do the trim there next. The painters have been told that they need to have everything completed by Wednesday of next week at the latest, so they still have plenty of time for the rest. The new linoleum will be laid on the back porch and in the bathrooms on Friday and the cabinets are set to be hung next Wednesday. After that all that is left is the refinishing of the original hardwood floors, hanging the lights and the other finishing touches. Everyday we get a little closer. The pictures show some of the ceiling, trim & door painting...sorry the quality isn't better, but there wasn't much light today due to the rainy weather...it gives you an idea of how things look. If all goes as planed I'll have more photos up on Friday.
