Cabinets

We have cabinets now...YEAH and they look absolutely amazing. All of the cabinets (kitchen and bathrooms) are now in place with doors and knobs. The surface (Formica) will not go in on the kitchen counter tops until next week...the builder is waiting for them to come in and expects them soon, but they will be staring on the hardwood floors tomorrow so traffic through the house will be limited for a while. The kitchen cabinets are oak with bead board paneling in the doors & around the peninsula, the master bathroom is cherry (to match our bedroom furniture) and the upstairs bathroom is oak. Needless to say we are very pleased with the cabinets and excited with the progress. The painter was back today as well working on edging George's room and we expect him to finish that up tomorrow. The kids and I will be headed back over on Wednesday to meet with the flooring people. We will decide on a stain color for the floors and check on any other progress then, but things are looking great and we are very optimistic about wrapping up in the next few weeks.
