Journal

For years now I have told myself that I should start keeping a journal and yesterday while the kids and I were doing our weekly grocery shopping in Wal-Mart (yes, we shop at Wal-Mart and I absolutely despise it, but it is so much cheaper than anywhere else) I "bit the bullet" and bought a 400 page, ruled, leather bound journal. It's not something I plan to use to confess my inner most fears/desires/etc. to, but I just think that 50 years down the road it will be nice to have something to look back on and remind myself of all of the amazing things that are currently going on around me. I completed my 1st entry last night and it was just a short, simple summary of the day...with any luck I'll keep it up and will someday treasure the words that are written in it. Wish me luck!
