A long night...

As most of you know, I am now working 3rd shift in an Analytical Lab. It's a good job; secure, good benefits, good pay, etc., but to be frank 3rd shift just isn't my cup of tea. It has it's good points...having the freedom to do things with the kids during the days, being able to help significantly contribute to the family checking account, just to name a few...but it definitely has it's bad points as well. Most nights we have enough work to at least keep the clock ticking (i.e. keep my eyes open), unfortunately that is not the case tonight. So far, the area I am working in has been the busiest...I have spent a grand total of maybe 45 minutes working in the last 3 hours and I only have one more 5-6 minute test to run for the remainder of my 5 hours. So, to put it mildly...it's gonna be a long night!! Hope you are all sleeping as soundly as I wish I was...Good Night!
